We are looking for a strong and resilient Progress Lead to work at our expanding Extra Time Project.

The role of ‘Progress Lead’ has been a newly created role that incorporates mentoring and tutoring pupils through the 12-week programme. This is carried out in a range of tasks including leading a tutor group of 4-6 pupils who are struggling in mainstream education due to a range of reasons affecting their emotions and behaviour. The Progress Lead will also be responsible for two subjects of their choice that would be beneficial to the pupils on the provision. This could include PE, Food Technology, Media or any other subject that would capture the imagination of the young learners. Pupils are aged 11-13 years old.

The Progress Lead would be required to design their own 12-week curriculum. The successful candidate would need to log progress through the weekly reports that are sent home and to partner schools.

A good knowledge of safeguarding is required along with the ability to connect and build relationships quickly. All staff will be required to complete mandatory training before the first academic day of the project.
