RMF Launches New LGBTQ+ Safe Spaces Programme in Brighton and Worthing

The Russell Martin Foundation is delighted to announce the launch of its new LGBTQ+ Safe Spaces programme, with the first session taking place today in Brighton.

Following the success of our recent fundraising event, we're incredibly proud to see the programme come to life, providing free weekly youth work and multi-sport sessions for LGBTQ+ young people and allies across Brighton and Worthing.

Delivered in partnership with Pink Tile Education, the sessions aim to create a safe, welcoming and inclusive environment where young people can meet others, build friendships, develop confidence and enjoy a range of sporting activities.

Weekly sessions:

  • Brighton: Wednesdays, 4–6pm at Moulsecoomb Community Leisure Centre.
  • Worthing: Thursdays, 4–6pm at The Maybridge Keystone Centre.

Both sessions are completely free, with families welcome.

A huge thank you to everyone who supported our fundraiser and helped make this programme possible, including our fantastic RMF staff and volunteers.

We would especially like to thank Pink Tile Education for their invaluable partnership and support in bringing this programme to life.

This is another positive step in our commitment to creating opportunities and inclusive spaces for young people across Sussex.

Together, we're helping young people feel safe, supported and free to be themselves.
