Jane Coleman Appointed as Chief Operating Officer at the Russell Martin Foundation

The Russell Martin Foundation (RMF) is proud to announce Jane Coleman as its new Chief Operating Officer (COO).

Jane first joined RMF after returning from travelling in China, working on the newly established Extra Time Project in Brighton. Having known Founder Russell Martin and inspired by the Foundation’s charitable work, she quickly fell in love with the impact the programme was having on young people and has since progressed through a variety of roles.

With a background spanning children’s residential care, fostering, and community sport, Jane brings extensive leadership experience. She has also worked with Charlton Athletic’s Community Scheme before joining RMF.

As COO, Jane will oversee the day-to-day running of RMF, enabling CEO Alan Sanders to focus on external relationships. Her priorities include delivering a new three-year strategy, building unity through the “OneRMF” campaign, expanding health and education programmes, and strengthening RMF’s impact in the community.

“I am passionate about this charity, its aims and impact,” said Jane. “We’ve built strong trust within our communities, and I’m excited to help lead RMF through its next chapter. As a working mum, I’m proud to step into this role and hope to inspire and mentor other women in leadership.”

Founder Russell Martin welcomed her appointment:

“Jane has been a driving force behind RMF’s growth. Her passion, experience and commitment to the communities we serve make her the perfect choice as our COO.”
