Apprentices making a difference!!
We are really pleased that our two apprentices, Lewis Barton(ex-Longhill High School student) and Lewis Hazell (ex-Patcham High School student) have been doing so well since they started at RMF in September 2019.
Both of our apprentices have been coaching football at our after school clubs and at the Russell Martin Academy and have shown real signs of progression. In addition, Lewis Barton has been assisting on our Extra Time Project for students who need a bit of extra support and was highly commended by Caroline Lucas MP for Brighton Pavilion who said;
“I was delighted to meet Lewis Barton who is on anapprenticeship with the Russell Martin Foundation through Functional Skills UK.He is clearly having such an impact on the young people at the Extra TimeProject, gaining skills himself but also bringing huge value to the project.”
Well done to both of you!
