Job Vacancy - Extra Time Project - Centre Manager
The Russell Martin Foundation are looking to appoint a confident and well organised Centre Manager for
the Extra Time Project. The Extra Time Project works alongside mainstream secondary schools in
supporting pupils struggling to maintain their behaviours in school. This can be due to a range of reasons
linking to emotional wellbeing and SEMH.
The centre manager will oversee the daily running of the centre, along with leading on safeguarding for the
cohort of pupils, reporting to the safeguarding lead & area manager. The centre manager will also be
required to deliver subjects on the provision to help support the curriculum, along with maintaining the
current excellent relationships with partner schools and local authority. The centre manager will also be
responsible for a tutor group of up to 5/6 pupils during their time on the 12-week provision and be
responsible for all reporting and communications between the project and home/mainstream school.
The centre manager needs to be comfortable with being in charge of the daily running of their site, pupils
and staff team, alongside upkeeping strong and resilient standards to all pupils on the provision
