With the Russell Martin Foundation’s continued efforts to pursue environmental education through our Extra Time Projects, we have decided to join the Planet League competition in our attempts to offer more engaging and active learning.

Planet League is a football-themed climate action competition that aims to mobilise football and sports fans across the globe to take action on climate change. This is done through a range of football-themed environmental activities that, once completed, allow you to collect a varying amount of ‘goals’, which act as points, depending on the activity. These activities range from getting a reusable water bottle to making a compost bottle.

Through this competition we are aiming to encourage our students to get involved in these activities to help teach them valuable environmental lessons that can help equip them to face environmental challenges in the future.
