KS4 pupils across Brighton and Hove can now take part in an Active IQ course at FGM Gym Kensington Street Brighton. Pupils are given the opportunity to gain a Level1 qualification in Assisting in Gym instruction which then enables them to gain an insight into the workings of the sports and leisure business, as well as sports coaching. The certification is processed and passed through functional skills and is a fantastic steppingstone into work within the leisure industry. The Pupils who have taken part say this has given them the opportunity to gain skills in using a gym, healthy eating and gaining a healthy mind.
